  1. oh boy all the comments went away again but anyhow it was about it not laying flat and someone said she did an extra row after the 1st row 2 and it made it lay flat

    1. The pattern will pull itself flat after row 12. And if you've gotten that far and it's still not working, try going down a hook size or two. Pulling and pushing on the stitches to make them lay where they need to be is helpful as well.

    1. You can use any hook you like, but smaller hooks than what the yarn recommends is best.Thank you for commenting!

  3. Could you please have a left handed video made for this project. 8 absolutely love this pattern for a baby blanket.

    1. I am strongly right handed and would never be able to do a tutorial with my left hand. My grandmother used to teach her left handed children in a mirror. You could try setting the video up in a mirror and see if it worked?
      Thank you for commenting!

  4. I wanted to point out that if I hadn't watched your video, I wouldn't have e figured this out. Your written instructions for the first loopy row are wrong. You say to skip 2 stitches when you do the ch 5, but in the video, you skipped one chain space.

    2. Maybe you have to old written pattern? If you look above (a few months ago) I've changed it.

    3. Beautiful pattern, thank you!

I had the same issue with this row. To me at least, it would match the video better if for the corners it said:

Ch 5, skip next ch 1 space, SC in next ch 1 space, ch 5, skip next ch 1 space, SC in next ch 1 space

    1. Yes it likes to do this, But just keep going and then if it does not pull itself out with size I suggest blocking it. Thank you for commenting!
